The Company Robert Half is currently recruiting an experienced stand-alone Payroll officer for a highly regarded and well-respected organisation based in the Melbourne CBD. This role will be permanent with an immediate start. Proven payroll experience within a standalone environment within the not-for-profit industry will be highly advantageous The successful applicant will be capable of processing timesheets on a fortnightly basis working with complex payroll systems (KeyPay / Employment Hero), non-award and award rates as well as superannuation processing will be an advantage for the successful candidate. This is a part-time role with static days of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday however also open to 5 days for the right candidate. The Role Reporting to the HR/Finance Manager, your duties will include: High Volume Payroll processing on a bi-weekly and monthly basis Adhering to a large amount of award and EBA rates Accurate entering of new staff data Processing of Salary packaging / entitlements Ensure wages and Tax payments are compliant with regulation Mentoring and overseeing of the payroll team Ad-hoc duties as requested Your Profile To be successful you will have proven experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years' experience. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous: Confident in high volume payroll Previous EBA/SCHADS experience Excellent Attention to detail Payroll/HRIS systems (Employment Hero) experience Excellent Organisational Skills Excellent communication skills Ability to meet deadlines Ability to work in a team The successful candidate will be immediately available, driven, focused, and dedicated to the company goals while maintaining a high calibre workflow.
